In the production of polyolefin cables and TPV profiles, surface roughness (melt fracture) and die drool are major concerns. These issues are closely related to the rheological properties of the polymer, and are fundamentally caused by significant variations in polymer flow behavior. Such problems can be overcome by using an appropriate lubricant. TPX1200 is an excellent additive designed to address these challenges. Even at very low dosages, it delivers remarkable improvements, enabling production speeds two to three times faster than processes without TPX1200, while maintaining stable and defect-free extrusion. Explanation of Dispersing agent and Lubricant for Polymer Compound and how to improve dispersion when compounding. Basically telling about chemicals but somewhat explaining the relationship between the chemicals and compounding machines.

As more used and old WPCs are being removed and replaced in South Korea, we conducted a study to check If these removed WPCs can be recycled. The study shows that the use of Irubond100 and Irucomp510 can help produce high quality recycled WC (above Korea Standard Specification for said material) at a very low cost.

Better physical properties including low water absorption are the key factor of WPC. We tested our Irucomp510 and It shows remarkably improved physical properties and low moisture absorption along with production speed. Irucomp510 is also very necessary when recycling broken WPCs. It is used as compatibilizer for different ingredients of WPCs.

High speed production of WPC profiles is the key factor for the business success. TPX1400 is a super lubricant in WPC production. Using TPX1400, the production speed increased about 4times faster and extruder could be run almost full speed.

IRUCOMP510 is a MAH modified polyolefin wax. It has polar property by the modification using MAH. Due to the polar property, IRUCOMP510 works not only as lubricant/release agent but also as glass/mineral filler dispersant in polyamide compound. Moreover, as reacting with amine functional group (-NH2) and hydroxyl group (-OH) so that Polyamide, IRUCOMP510 increases the polyamide compounds’ physical properties.

This test is done to compare Irubond®100 against 2kinds of global products and 3kinds of Korean domestic products. Irubond®100 has the equivalent properties as global products and superior to domestic products. Customers can make very good products using Irubond®100.

This test has performed to compare Irubond®130 against other products As seen in the above, the test result with Irubond130 is superior to with other coupling agents. Irubond®130 can be the best choice for customers’ mineral filled PP compounds.

The use of high filler content or recycled PP in a compound can affect the surface finish of end products. We tested our EL840 to see if EL840 can remarkably improve flow and surface as well as dispersion of highly filled PP and recycled PP. Shark skin (tiger mark) can also be eliminated.

In order to reduce the cost of construction materials, the feasible use of recycled resins mixed with magnesium hydroxide flame retardant and ash was tested. The study shows how Irubond100 can help achieve strong coupling and give good dispersion effect. The product can also be used with other various fillers.

Nylon Is a strong and tough material. However, when stress is concentrated, it can become fragile and break. To make it more suitable for engineering plastic uses, its impact resilience has to be increased. To do so, we tested our Irubond700 and the result shows that It Is highly compatible with nylon and can have a toughening effect on the material improving its impact resillence.

The study was conducted since silica is considered a very good structural material due to its inherent properties that enhance rubber products such as tires. This, however, comes at the expense of experiencing poor dispersion and re-agglomeration. The result of our study shows that Irucomp510 is excellent for silica dispersion and long term dispersion stability.

Irubond®135 improves the adhesion between aluminum and PP very much. The impact strength as well.

This study was conducted to compare of EL100 against widely used processing agent. The result shows that EL100 is highly effective in improving the flow of rubber compound and similar to the other company's product in the market.

This study was conducted to see the comparability of EL400 to the widely used processing additive. The result shows that EL400 can improve the processing of rubber compound without sacrificing its properties. It can also reduce the mixing time. EL400 has properties that lower the risk of blooming and gas generation.

EL400 is a fatty ester derivative and very high heat stability. It improves processability without negative effect to rubber compound. Its functional group hardly remains and acid value is low. Therefore, EL400 works well especially with the formulation that outer metal ion and inner stearic acid reaction cause whitening event.

The use of more fillers to reduce production costs can result in lower quality in finished products. We put our TPX4000 to test if its good dispersion properties can solve the issue and our study shows that TPX4000 can improve the dispersion of highly loaded fillers in the polymer matrix.

When flame retardants (ATH, MDH) are applied to highly filled polyethylene compounds, it is very difficult to make the surface very smooth. In order to solve this issue, we tested our TPX8750 and TPX1000. TPX8750 could remarkably Increase cable's surface smoothness, while TPX1000 can improve production speed and strengthen the cable surface protecting it from damage.
